Any images you upload will be saved in your Media Library, making it easy to reuse them elsewhere on your website.

What we do
At Dogtor Appa, we provide structured walks, cosy stays, and socialisation for dogs of all breeds and temperaments. While every pet is welcome, we are especially experienced with dogs facing challenges such as reactivity, aggression, anxiety, or undersocialisation.
Using calm, desensitisation-based methods, we help dogs thrive physically and emotionally — while giving owners peace of mind.
Our story
Dogtor Appa began with our Akita, Appa, whose calm, balanced nature made him a natural stooge dog. Over the years, he’s helped hundreds of dogs across Brighton work through behavioural and socialisation challenges, guiding difficult dogs toward confidence.
His impact inspired us — Sanmi and Iliyana — to create Dogtor Appa, a service built on the same patience, structure, and understanding. Together, we continue to shape everything we do with a shared passion for helping dogs thrive and owners feel at ease.
